Horizon Development Wins 3 FIABCI Awards and Hands Out Special Commemorative Prize
Szervita Square Building, Horizon Development’s latest downtown development was acknowledged with three prestigious awards at the 23rd FIABCI Hungarian Prix d’Excellence gala today. The international and local jury voted for the premium project as the ‘Best Mixed-Use Building in Hungary’ and other contestants of this year’s competition also considered it the best property among the 44 submitted projects. Furthermore, Szervita Square Building finished as the overall silver winner at the ’Oscars of Real Estate Development’.
The awards entitle Szervita Square Building to enter the international FIABCI Prix d’Excellence, where this new gem of downtown Budapest will compete in a pool of hundreds of exceptional worldwide properties.
This year’s award ceremony also featured a special moment when Horizon Development’s managing partner Balázs Czár handed over the first Attila Kovács Special Prize for the heritage restoration of 13th century Saint Michael’s Church, Sopron. The award was established in memory and recognition of Attila Kovács MRICS, founder and former managing partner of Horizon Development and a generous FIABCI-supporter, who passed away in February 2021.
